Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born November 24 the 24th of November, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was a former candidate for the US Senate and a TV presenter at MSNBC. She was a frequent contributor on The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill’s Rising, along with Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball announced in the month of May that they would be leaving the show to launch their own show, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is a co-host along with Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has guest starred on programs such as Real Time with Bill Maher, Fox News (CNBC), Fox News (Fox News), and CNN (CNBC). Ball is currently married to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball attributes her continued interest in politics to her experience as a new mom during the 2008 primaries. She also followed the US presidential election from Jordan while she was in Jordan. She was able to observe how the election affected those in that country and, as a result, she was able to appreciate the global impact US politics has on all people in the world. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee in Virginia's 1st Congress District for Congress in 2010. She lost to Rob Wittman, who is the incumbent Republican. From June 2012 through July 2015, she was co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC. She launched the People's House Project in May 2017 to promote Democratic causes.
